DIY Solution for stabilizing iPhone footage?

I'll be shooting a film with my friends, but I extremely dread that the camera will shake in someone's hands. Is there any trick so that I don't need to buy a tripod or stabilizer? (Not talking about video stabilizing apps either, a physical way to stabilize iphone.)

Hold the phone pressed up under your chin to stabilize it. Of course you can't see the screen but the wide angle lens will capture almost everything in front of the camera. A stabilizer such as the Feiyu G4 will, of course, be a much better solution.

Using your favorite browser and device connected to the internet, search using "smartphone video stabilizer" and pick one in your budget. Hint: spend more for better quality, build and after sale support.

Get one of those cheap selfie sticks. Attach the phone as usual. Don't extend the rod, and tie a somewhat heavy weight to the bottom, like a filled small water bottle (and make sure it stays on the selfie stick). The weight will help you steady the phone.
