Do apple devices ever get viruses?

I have a ipod touch 4g and a iphone 5 and i soon going to get a ipad mini for my birthday, but i want to know do apple devices ever get viruses nomatter into what unknown websites you go in to or so?

Very rare with iphone/ipad/ipod, apple reviews all code before it can get into the appstore, which is great because you have no concerns about viruses no matter how much you download.

Not as often as Windows. Both Apple and Android systems are now getting hacked. I tell my customers that they should have thease 5 things, Avast for virus scan, Comodofor a firewall, mallwarebites for dialers or anything else that gets past the host file and the Microsoft security suite on "Chicago" based systems.

It is very unlikely to get viruses using apple devices, 1 in 1million devices receive a virus, except there's only one specific virus that can hit apple devices which can only browse your device, (see your apps, messages, photos) but this also takes time for whover to update the virus when apple bring out new software updates, the only real way of allowing your device to receive a virus is if you jailbreak it, but that is illegal so I'm sure you won't do that.

So there's a 99.9% chance you will not receive a virus and if you do it's pretty harmless anyway!

No they are not prone to viruses.
