Do at&t users get cell reception in nassau bahamas?
I have iphone with at&t and i'm taking a 4 night cruise to the bahamas in december. I already figure I won't have cell phone reception when i'm on the actual ship at sea unless I want to spend out the but.however, just wondering if I will have it once I arrive at nassau bahamas and the other bahama beach since it is more geered towards tourists… Or is that a negative as well unless I want to spend super money?
If you turn on international service with ATT, you should be able to get service, but cell service, in general, in the bahamas is iffy, and unreliable.
ATT fees are $2.29per minute incoming and outgoing, including missed calls and calls gone to voice mail.
Txt are $.50 per outgoing and $.05 incoming
Data is VERY expensive. Like $20 for 20mg. Or something crazy. So turn off data, don't send pictures and tell your friend not to send them.
it's really best to just turn off your phone.pull the battery and leave it in the safe til you get back to the US
- Would i get better reception with 4G? Where i live i don't get good service at all. Almost none unless i go to town. I have to text thru a Wi-Fi texting app. If i got a 4G phone like the Iphone 4 or something would i get better reception?
- Will cell reception get better after I get an iphone5? I currently have a very cheap cell phone that I got for free more than 2 years ago which is not capable of 4G. Now, I'm considering upgrading to an iphone 5. Will that improve the reception and chances that I will get less dropped calls and other problems?
- Why do users of an android have worse quality of posted instagram photos than users of ios? I have an AndroidOne smartphone and I noticed that having posted a photo it has worse quality than the same photo but of the user of an iphone. Does anyone know why? Ia there any explanation?
- Can you text/Call in the Bahamas with AT&T? My girlfriend is in the Bahamas she has AT&T, I haven't heard from her. She has iPhone, when I text her like iMessage it was taking a while to say delivered and when I call her phone i hear nothing and it goes to voicemail or I'll hear a dial tone then to voicemail.Could it be no reception?
