Do I get charged for using the internet on Iphone?
I recently got the iphone 4s. I have Verizon, and have been with Verizon for about 3yrs now. The rest of my family just have regular flip phones, and verizon said it would be about $30 extra a month on the bill. I have been using the internet from my Wi-Fi at home, but say if I go somewhere that doesn't have Wi-Fi and use the internet, do I get charged? I have 700 minutes for talking and unlimited texting, also I think have hotspot(?)

Verizon has data plans that get added to your bill, minimum is 2GB data which is around 30 dollars.
Try to use as much Wi-Fi as you can and set your apps to update using Wi-Fi instead of data. Also, keep track of how much data you use and your apps are using. If you are unsure about this, ask someone that has the same phone as you so they can show you. Apps on phones can really use that data QUICK and you only have a certain amount you can use.
Ask them if you have cellular data on that phone. If you have some type of data plan you can use it without being charged extra until you go over the allotment you're given.
