Will I get charged for using Wi-Fi when my Sprint data plan is shut off?
If I turn off the data plan for my iPhone 5 (with the intention if turning it back on), will I get charged for using the Internet using Wi-Fi?
Why do you think you'd be charged for using Wi-Fi? You can buy a new laptop, bring it home and connect it to your Wi-Fi just as you would your Smartphone.
No, because Wi-Fi internet is begin received from different source which has no connection with your phone based data connectivity. So all the internet charger will be borne by the Wi-Fi owner.
- Will I get charged for using 3G Internet if I have the unlimited data plan? My carrier is Sprint. I have an iPhone 4. I'm asking if I'll be charged if I don't use Wi-Fi.
- Will I be charged by using my 3G data even if I'm not connected to Wi-Fi? So currently I have no Internet but I do have an iPhone 4S 16GB and my plan is Sprint's unlimited everything plan so I'm able to use the Internet still on my phone. But does anybody know if it'll charge me extra even if I have unlimited data since I'm not connected to Wi-Fi because usually I use my phone's Internet all the time but it's usually connected to Wi-Fi. Does anybody know if I may get charged?
- Will I be charged a data plan if I buy a factory unlocked iphone? I want to buy a factory unlocked iphone 4s off ebay. I currently have a 3g that's unlocked but I don't believe it's factory unlocked. If I put my sim card into this new 4s will AT&T know and add the data plan? I've heard this can happen before but is it just for people who buy factory unlocked phones through Apple or AT&T or is it for all factory unlocked phones?
- When turning off 3G on iPhone 4S, will I still get charged for using my wireless? I have a contract with Orange with 1GB data, I have just gone over it so I decided to turn off 3G and use my Wi-Fi from home. Will I still get charged?
