Do I have a legal basis for filing a lawsuit?
I'm wondering if I have a legal basis for filing a lawsuit against AT&T, Apple, and asurion which is a mobile protection plan company. A year ago I lost my phone and got a replacement through asurion which works with AT&T. The phone was good for a year or so until the camera began to malfunction. I promptly took it to the apple store where they told me I had no AppleCare. I did on the phone I lost however and once I got my phone through asurion the AppleCare was void. Something that was never mentioned on the asurion website. After hearing this, the apple employee took my phone into the back and took it apart. He came back within minutes telling me that the majority of the parts were "questionable" with tags all over them. So, is there a legal basis for filing a lawsuit against asurion for not making their customers aware that all AppleCare on the phones will be void once a replacement is received and for distributing replacement phones without genuine apple certified parts. And is there basis again apple and AT&T for partnering up with this company knowing or not knowing what the iPhones are comprised of.
You will not beat their legal departments. Best chance is to talk to their customer service and try to come up with a deal
You have no grounds for suit against AT&T or Apple.
You MIGHT have a case against Asurion, but it would only be for the cost to replace the phone. This isn't some big money suit where you would be entitled to lots of free money.
Your contract most likely states this.
Welcome to Apple. I have never understood the Applehead fanatacism for sub par tech
Sure, that shouldn't cost you more then 10K or so just to get it started. Then it will get thrown out in court (hint: you don't get your money back).
AT&t should be alerted that their Biz phone partner was flagged on parts. I understand what your going through and all the frustration. I lost my phone in Nov, and a friend bought me a used Moto that isn't compatible with Att networks. They teamed with Motorola to help sell their phones. Since then, i can't sign on to the web or take pictures. For ten years I have been att but over the last year, I can feel them changing for the worse. Call them everyday until you get results or exhausted all options.
- Would i have Legal issues if i named my iPhone app the same as a current product non-gaming related? Apparently, the name of my iPhone game is the same as a book written by a non-famous author, the book is about super hero's. My game is not about super hero's. Also, when i search google images, the name of my game shows up as the vehicle, Jaguar's icon. Would i have a legal issue to name my game the same as a book and a google image that shows up as Jaguar's icon?
- Companies filing for bankruptcy? I would like to find a website or database, list or maybe an app for my Iphone with information about companies filing bankruptcy that trade publicly in the stock market.
- Can I cancel my lawsuit agaisnt Apple? Hey it's Fred! I tried to sue Apple because the iPhone X was coming out late, but at pre order everything worked and it's coming Nov 3. So should I quit my lawsuit
