Do I lose any data by upgrading to IOS 7?

I have iPhone 5 with IOS 6 and I wanna upgrade it to IOS 7 so will I lose any data like pics or whatsapp history or any apps or anything else if I upgrade or it's normal and nothing will be lost?

I lost all my contacts. My pictures were still there though.

No, but if you are close to your limit then you will need to delete some things manually in order to update. For example, I only had about 2 GB of storage available and IOS7 requires like 3 or 4 GB to update.

Basically if you have over 4GB left then you are good to update.

Better to made a backup, I didn't lose anything, but my sister lost all her contacts.

BTW: You can get back lost contacts on iOS 7 update from site any-data-recovery.com My sister is one of the beneficiary

  • Upgrading to iPhone 5 without losing unlimited data? I currently have the iphone 4 and I want to get the iPhone 5 without losing unlimited data. My contract is up. Is there anyway around this like adding a new line and switching the phone to my current line so I do not lose it. I would appreciate it if you could help.
