Do I need and adapter AND a converter in Ireland?
I'm traveling to Ireland next week, and plan on taking my iPhone, flat iron, and camera. Will I need both adapter and converter, or just the adapter? I recently bought an adapter set, but I was worried I might need the converter too. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Yes. You will as Ireland is a foreign country.
OiPhone? What magic is dis?
Electronics like iPhones, iPods and laptops are all dual voltage. All you need for them is the adaptor. However, the iron (by which I assume you mean a device for the hair) needs a converter or you'll blow all the circuits.
- Will I need an electrical/power adapter to travel to England? (I live in Canada)? I'm traveling to England next summer to visit some family for a month and I was wanting to bring my laptop and phone along with me. I have a Sony Vaio and iPhone 4 (I don't know if that makes a difference at all). If I need to get one, what type do I buy and where can I purchase one? Preferably not online.
- Will I need a converter or adapter? Need to be able to charge my iPhone. I'm going to the Philippines and our flight also stops in Japan. Should I get an adapter or a converter to be able to charge?

- Should I use an adapter or converter for my travels to Europe? For a hair curler, it reads 120-240V~50/60Hz,40W. I will also be charging an iPhone & apple watch as well when traveling to Europe
