Do I need internet connection when Preparing Update in iOS 7?
I'm at school but my mom's almost here to get me. I'm downloading iOS 7 to my iPhone 4 and it is at Preparing Update. Do I need internet connection at this stage of installing it?
I'm stuck in the same scenario. Its been quite some time yu asked this question so I guess you should have the answer now? So what is it?

I have a droid with no built in Wi-Fi or whatever iphones have. 98% of my apps don't need an internet connection, so its a reasonable question if snapchat needs internet or not. Why does it anyways?
- IPhone Stuck on 'Preparing Update'? I have an iPhone 4 and want to upgrade to 7.1. The update is on the iPhone and is downloaded, but is stuck on 'Preparing Update'. I've rebooted the iPhone and nothing has changed. Might also mention that I'm behind my college's Wi-Fi and it is on a proxy- is an internet connection with no proxy required to complete the update?
