Do iphones break easier than blackberries?

I have a BlackBerry, he has an iPhone. I say iPhones break easier than BlackBerries, he says BlackBerries break easier than iPhones. Please end me and my friend's smartphone disagreement.

Both of you try hammering each others phone. One whose cell brakes earlier loses.

Screens do as iPhones' are made of glass, but blackberrys tend to crash more and have issues with their software and such. Personally, i was a blackberry owner for a year and went through ten of them because they would randomly break or overheat. They finally just gave me a basically free iPhone because they felt bad for me and I never had a problem with it despite shattering both sides of it and the lock button sometimes wouldn't cooperate. I liked the feel of the blackberry more but the iPhone lasts much longer and can do more.

Haha!
The guy above said right.

I have a blackberry and both my sisters have an iPhone and i have dropped my phone must be 50-60 times and it only has one scratch.iPhone's don't freeze as much as blackberrys as iphones might freeze twice a month but blackberrys freeze 3-4 times a day if they are 1year or 2 yrs old and have apps on but it depends on which way you are looking at it like smash wise definatley iPhones but blackberrys software wise. Blackberries break a lot easier than iPhones - trust me having done from an iPhone to a Blackberry!

However if you're talking about screens cracking when dropped, the iPhone wins that one - so easily broken in that way!

If dropped then the iphone would probably break easier because it has a lot of glass covering the phone.
But the software on a iphone is much more stable then a blackberry and doe's not freeze or break anywhere near as much as a blackberry.

Iphone may be more prone to cosmetic damage but blackberry may be more prone to hardware damage.

Blackberry do! I've had an iPhone for nearly a year now dropped it loads of times and its not once smashed! I had a BB curve dropped it down the stairs and the screen smashed, then had a BB Bold and within in 7 months of taking out the contract they had to send me 12 different BB Bolds because they were faulty! Kept crashing and turning off, your friend has made the better choice and got the iPhone I'm afraid

Iphone 5 is now aluminum casing… So it depends what you mean by break because that isn't breaking even if you throw it.

It depends which blackberry and which iphone. The iPhone 5 is pretty sturdy, and some blackberries are too.

  • Why don't iPhones work well? IPhones break easily and are laggy? Hi. I have an iPhone 5 and I have many problems with it. Whenever I type on my iPhone 5, the texts that I type come out like 5 seconds after I type them. It's very unresponsive and lagging. My previous iPhone broke in just 2 years. Is Nokia a better brand than Apple?
  • Why does everyone say that iPhone's are easier to use than Android? I have both and I'm wondering as soon as I picked up both phones I knew how to use them it wasn't difficult and practically same concept why do people say that?
  • Why do people still buy Blackberries? What does Blackberry offer that Androids and iPhones don't? It seems like nearly everyone has either an iPhone or Android and you don't hear too much about Blackberry these days. Even most businesses have switched over from Blackberry to Android. There are still a few very loyal people who continue to buy Blackberries, so there must be some sort of appeal. Just curious what it is.
  • Why do people hate Blackberries? I love my Iphone, but I decided to try out the blackberry 9900 recently. I've been using it for a week, and I think it's great! The touch screen is good, the trackpad is efficient, the keyboard is awesome. It's not as "fun" a phone as an Iphone (not a lot of fun apps) but still pretty good. What do so many people have against blackberries?
