Do iphones really use a lot of data?
Currently still stuck with an iphone 4 since my last phone broke but IIm usually always on Wi-Fi as well unless iim traveling. But i'm thinking about upgrading to a 6s or maybe just a 5. Currently I have the unlimited data plan on Verizon but I really need to upgrade my phone and so I really would like some opinions on data usage!
No, the amount of data use really depends on the user. If you text a lot, (iMessage) or you use social media a lot, then you should probably start cutting down a little bit, or possibly get a data plan that has the right amount of data for you specifically.
The type of phone you use doesn't matter, its how you use it and what apps you install.
If you watch Netflix/YouTube or other video streams, those use tons of data.
If you just browse the web or use Facebook, those use less data.
So it's entirely dependent on usage.
Depends on how you use the phone rather than what phone you are using.
- Why does iPhones' have a lot of problems? My dad wanted an iPhone but I herd it had a lot of problems that it won't' last long enough how can I explain this to my dad?
- Why do a lot of people hate iPhones so much? Excluding the fact that is expensive it's not a bad phone AT All in my opinion. Even people who have phones with the same price tag complain about the iPhones price. And another excuse is it breaks easily? I've dropped mine on concrete and it's still in good condition. What's up?
- Is 500mb a lot of Data for an iphone? I'm planning on getting an iphone and I have two plan options. One offers me 500 mb's of Data and the other 1Gb. I'm big on social networking so I'd probably be using facebook, twitter and instagram a lot. I will probably check my e-mail every now and again but not often. I was just wondering if 500 mb's would be enough?
- If I keep my data on but also use Wi-Fi will it use my data? I just got an iPhone from us cellular. I use Wi-Fi to save data, but I can't receive group messages if my data isn't on. If I keep my data on all the time, but use Wi-Fi, will it use my data? And if I keep both on will it use my Wi-Fi instead of data?
