Do not have iphone 5 password
Hi so a few days a guy sold me the iPhone 5 on the street and I know it's illegal and most likely stolen but I got a good price problem is the iPhone 5 is locked with the 4 digit password and I don't know what to do I want to connect it to iTunes on my computer and try to reset it but I don't really know what exactly to do and if the iPhone would even get unlocked because it was not synced into my computer originally. What should Ido? I tried going back and finding the guy but he wasn't there (no surprise) .Is there anything I can do?
If it a sim card password try 0000 or 1234 or 1111
Or you can just take out the sim
If its a iphone password you will have to reset it
By reset I mean restore it to factory defaults

Then just plug in the iphone to your pc and reninstall the ios
Search how to put it into dfu mode. I'm pretty sure you hold the home and power button for ten seconds (while its off), let go of the power button and hold it for 10 more seconds. Then connect to itunes
- Why does iPhone not have the option to require a password to turn the phone off? When someone steals your iPhone, the first thing they do is turn it off, not allowing you to use the GPS function to search for the phone. This means you have 0 time to get a rough idea of where your phone is, as this may still be very useful in tracking your phone. Is it because: 1. They not thought of the idea 2. Apple wants stolen phones in order to increase sales 3. It's a stupid and pointless idea to begin with
- My iPhone is locked and I can't remember the password it only lets me try one password before locking down now it says connect to iTunes? What am I supposed to do? I have connected to iTunes but it says it needs me to answer on my phone and I can't do that
- Is there any way I can use my deceased father's iphone X even though I don't know his password or his e-mail password? My dad passed away recently. He had a fairly new iPhone X. I'd like to use it as my own phone but I don't know the passcode. I watched a video on how to restore the phone but I still can't use it because the phone is connected to an itunes account… And since i don't know his e-mail password, i can't reset it. I went to AT&T (where we were on a family plan) but they said they can't help me. Is his nearly new phone destined to be a paper weight?
- I'm trying to ease all contents and setting from my iPhone 7 and it's asking for a password but I don't have a password Ok so I recently got an iPhone 7 and when I opened it up it was a clean slate nothing on it. However when I tried to restore my old phone's data I restored the wrong phone. I tried to go into setting and ease all contents but it asked for a password that I didn't put into my phone and didn't create. I have no clue what to do.
