Do you get a good signal with virgin mobile?
I'm just curious I was thinking about getting a spare phone but as a pre-paid plan instead and virgin mobile was the only one that had an iphone available, main reason I want an iphone is because I use Pinger a lot, I've looked at some answers for if its a good carrier for reception but the question was old so I'm not sure if it has gotten better or worse over the years.
Compare it to other brands out there if you can.
I used to have AT&T but I switched to Virgin Mobile in Sept of 2011. For me, most areas VM's signal is as good as AT&T's. At work, however where I used to get full bars with AT&T I get no signal with VM. Also, while on a car trip last year (from Los Angeles to San Francisco) I had no problems with getting a good signal. I had no problems in Anaheim a couple of months ago.
VM uses Sprint towers so it depends on the location of the Sprint towers in your area.

I have Virgin Mobile USA - for ME, the service isn't that great.AT&T and Verizon have superb coverage BUT they have the prices to prove it!

- Virgin Mobile or Boost Mobile? I'm moving to Houston this summer and I'm looking for a cheaper cell phone plan. I talk, text, email, fb etc. I had virgin mobile back in 2004 and I love it and had no problem. I have a android galaxy s3 right now which I love but the battery isn't so great. I'm thinking about possibly buying an iPhone. What I'm really looking for is reviews on virgin and boost mobile. If you have any other cheap cell phone plan carrier suggestions I'm up for that too.
- Virgin Mobile iphone 4s: Does it work on T-mobile? If I purchased the unlocked iphone 4s from Virigin mobile would I be able to use it on T-mobile? Does anybody know if the virigin mobile iphone has a spot for a sim card like the ones T-mobile uses?

Their plans are significantly cheaper than at&t or verizon and i don't have to be in a contract. But I don't know how good the internet is. I live in Florida so the network should be everywhere. But will it take a long time to load pages, will calls drop?
