Do you have to pay separately to fix the back and front of your iPhone 8?

I recently dropped my phone and preferably need it repaired within the a week. Will I have to pay two prices to fix the smashed glass on the front and back? Also how long does it usually take for the repair to take place? From the UK if that makes a difference

Take it down to the local town centre. There will be a few independent phone shops who will be able to price up and give you timescales on the repair.

Update: Use your insurance and get the phone repaired then.

You would of course have to buy both the physical parts for the front and back, however if the shop is being fair about it the labor to replace the front is already included in the cost to replace the back. However some stores may require it to be priced as two separate repairs depending on their policy. That is a big repair so you will want to shop around to get the best price. Also consider just buying an used iPhone 8 on eBay.

In order to replace the back glass the ENTIRE phone has to be COMPLETELY disassembled. EVERY SCREW has to come out. So yes if you get the back glass replaced then the the labor cost of "screen replacement" should be waived. Unless they have to transplant the camera, earpiece and home button over… Well they have to move the home button over but you get the point it should be cheaper.
