Do you like or hate Christmas?

I hate Christmas personally. It disgusts me when clueless people that don't know jack about The Bible say Christmas is about Jesus's birthday when it's clearly not. It's about a fat man with a white beard who gives out presents to those who were "good" for the whole year. Jesus was never born in the winter.

Don't even get me started on the give and receiving part of Christmas. It's is one of the reasons why I hate Christmas the most. You have bratty kids/teens/adults expecting what they want for Christmas, and when they get the wrong IPhone color or the wrong car, they will cry wolf to no loose end and post it on their social networks with the hashtags "#ThisChristmasSUCKS" "#FML".

Not only that, but it's also the time where companies push advertisements down to the consumer's throat, telling to buy a lot of useless junk because "Hey! It's Christmas! Gotta get into that holiday spirit!"

Yeah, I get the whole "get together with the family" but why should I wait a certain day to visit them when I have the whole year?

The whole concept of Christmas just makes me sick in my opinion.

I agree. Christmas should be more about celebrating Jesus's birthday, but this country is turning into an atheist nation. Santa Clause isn't even real and Jesus is real. Makes no sense. I guess people are just so selfish these days.

I have started to disdain Christmas because it is a pagan celebration with a link to Christianity. Both the paganism and the Christianity are European/Western customs that have been forced onto other people of the world by your colonizing ancestors. I will not celebrate cultural oppression.

What I love about Christmas is just the feeling. The cocoa, the snow, the lights, how every shop you go into is playing Christmas music, watching Christmas movies on cold Saturday mornings, and how everything is peppermint flavored.

I try not to focus on the bad. There's bad in everything and when it's focused on nothing is enjoyable. It's miserable, in fact. So yes, I like Christmas. And presents aren't everything in our house. Just the food and the family.

I understand hating all those ignorant children waiting for their iPods that their parents say won't come if there not "good" but get them anyways because they'll throw a tantrum otherwise, but i enjoy the celebration of Christmas. I like coming together as family and having a good time while at the same time, trying to help others have a good Christmas. I my self am not at all particular in what i get as a gift. It could be a jar of rocks (which i did get once) and would keep it and love it. The whole Santa Claus thing was about a real guy called st. Nick who lived Greece in just loved to give stuff to people. I don't know how he moved to the north pole and got flying caribou but the original thing with Santa is about giving to other so you shouldn't be having Christmas to get but to give, and it is argued that we should be like this year round.

We really need Christmas, look there's much more to Christmas then Santa Claus and stupid presents Christmas is hope! Its good to know that if you have had a really Sh! T year that Christmas is going to still be there for you at the end of it, Christmas is such a good time because its just so magical!
it gives hope to people who may have gave up and when its Christmas time they reminisce there childhood and remember the good times they had on Christmas as a child! If there was no Christmas the world would be a dark and depressing place!
