Do you rhink I'm a spoiled brat?

Hi first off I would like to say I'm spoiled but I'm not a brat. The reason being is because my best friend called me spoiled. I told her I'm spoiled but I'm not a brat. I don't act like a baby if I don't get what I want and I don't brag towards people ( even if I could I can't because I'm very shy and socially awkward) so I'm always quiet.

Bras and pantys from Victoria Secret plus there perfume
I even get my nails done every 2 weeks and go to the spa whenever I feel like it.

And a whole lot of designer clothes. Thats why things I listed my best friend assumes I'm spoiled. Oh and when I get free time I volunteer at the soup kitchen ( only to try and overcome my shyness and because I like helping people out )

And I also get kind of picked on because my dad is somewhat overprotective of me ( I don't know if its because my mom died when I was 5 or because I'm the only child ) and they make fun of me saying I'm daddys princess. Funny because the majority of these people who make fun of me don't even know there father. So I think that part is jealousy. But to my question, do you think I'm spoiled?

You are spoiled, you know that. But considering what you're saying about how you don't act up or brag to compensate for valuing materialistic goods for human emotion, i would say you aren't a brat.

Being spoiled is getting everything you ask for. Were these items presents/everyday buys because if so there's nothing wrong with quality. If, for example, your dad wanted to buy you a Samsung Galaxy because they're cheaper but you wanted the iPhone instead, then yes you're spoiled.
If you get your nails done & go to a spa, its just expensive grooming. If you freak out (as in panic, not get angry) because one week you can't go & you refuse to do it yourself then that would be being spoiled.
If you did those things with a bad attitude then you'd be a brat, if the luxuries get taken away & you panic you're spoiled, if you're none of the above then tell people where to stick their opinion when they give it!
And what's wrong being a daddy's girl? Even if you're not one? I think they are jealous!

I do not think you are spoiled but you are fortunate to have a dad who can afford to give you all those things that most teenagers are not blessed enough to have. Your friends are probably very envious because their parents are probably not in the position to give them all those things. You might be careful to not make a big deal about those things when you get them just to make sure you are not making them feel bad and causing them to not accept you as their friend. And the father part, I know I did not have a father until my mom remarried when I was 10 and I can tell you it is a very lonely feeling to go through life that way. They are probably envious of that too but hopefully they will realize that your dad is that way because you do not have a mom and he is trying to be extra careful with you. You might mention that to them sometime and also have compassion on those who do not have a father. You are only spoiled if you take for granted all your blessings and do not have compassion on those who don't. Only you know the answer to that question.

There are different income levels throughout society and the whole world for that matter. It sounds like your dad is able to provide the finer things in life for you. Compared to someone who was raised the way I was raised, you sound spoiled to me. But, yes there's a but, I'm sure there are people with bigger family incomes who have a lot more than you.

As far as being a brat? Well that depends on how you act towards people with lesser means than you. If you're a snob who thinks that you're better than them, then you are a snob. If you're compassionate and realize that people all have different means and priorities, then you may not be a brat. And it also depends on what YOU do with all the money you will eventually have.

Use it for something positive instead of just impressing other people. Use it to help the less fortunate.
