Do you sometimes have the urge to? How do I fight it?

Do you sometimes have the urge to make other people jealous? I'm not sure if 'jealous' was the correct word choice but I'm just going to use it for now. I don't know why but sometimes if someone were to say something like "I got an iPhone 5s last weekend!" I would (not always) respond w/ something like "I've had mine for a few months now. I got it for my birthday." I don't sound b*tchy when I say it though. It's basically just me 'letting someone know I guess.' Another example would be if someone got a new game or something I would most likely respond saying something like "I got it the day it came out." I hate it because I feel in some cases people do think I'm being a b*tch but I can't help it… Has this ever happened to you? How do I fight it?

Just enjoy what you have without the posturing. Let them do it if it makes them feel less empty to brag.

Well I don't have the 'urge' to make someone feel jealous but when I see someone bragging about something I do feel some kind of urge to tell them that they think they all that and a bag of chips but they ain't

Yeah don't do that. I just do it by having the stuff I truly want, like a BMW. People get mad about it even though I try to keep it on the down low.

Life is to short to be jealous of others. Worry about yourself, not what others are doing.

I totally have that feeling sometimes and i have bragged a little… Lol.
I have never tried this but maybe you can wear a rubber band on your wrist and when you get the urge to Bragg, just pull the rubber band back as far as possible and let go. This might or might not give you the mindset the bragging is wrong.
Or you can try to figure out where all the jealousy is coming from, That way you can deal with it and also maling your self happier.
