Do you think i can get my money back?

I was sold an iphone on ebay, the seller said it was locked but he didn't say it was "icloud" locked i thought he meant locked by carrier locked (SPRINT.) He told me i could get it unlocked in the description. I contacted apple and they said the phone could be stolen and there's not way to unlock it except by the user because the find my iphone is on. I messaged the seller and asked if he could turn off the find my iphone off and he never responded so i guess its not his phone. So i tried to sell it but i got a message from ebay saying they do not allow selling icloud locked iphones… He won't respond to me but he said there's noting wrong with it and i'm trying to scam him.

Added (1). i meant he responded to me when i made a ebay claim and said i'm trying to scam him. Its been past 30 days and i'm scared that its too late

You were scammed. Contact ebay, you will get your money back and that person will most likely be reported.

Is this the biggest crisis you face currently?

Report it to eBay as fraud. The usually side with the buyer. They will almost certainly take your side in this case.

A bit like 'buyer beware'. I'll bet the deal was a great bargain too. Open a claim with E-bay resolution center.

When you contact Ebay, tell them you have reason to believe it may be a stolen phone, as confirmed by Apple.

They will DEFINITELY take it seriously! Also, it would be helpful if you got/can get the person's name you spoke to at Apple.

Simple call eBay and get your money back
