Documents and data taking up 32 GB on my iPhone 6

I was on iTunes with my iPhone 6 (64 GB) plugged in and I noticed that "documents and data" was taking up HALF of my entire phone! What falls under documents and data and how do I get rid of it?

I suggest your yo use a cloud server to store and backup your data thus you don't have any risk to loosing your data.
Tray dropbox or google drive

Everything that isn't an app, including photos, videos, emails, text documents, game status, texts, voicemail, etc.

  • Where is 'documents and data' found on the iPhone? It used to be under settings then general but I can't seem to find it anymore and need to clear some space up.
  • What is documents and data in iPhone Storage? I read that it is the junks files including browser history, cookies, logs, caches of photos and videos, database files that are stored by your apps. Someone suggested downloading something that would "clean" your phone and free up space on your phone. I did this, but it only gave me the smallest amount of space available and I was hoping for much more! Can anyone help me out?
  • Trying to clear space on my iPhone. What are Documents and Data? Hi, I'm running out of space on my iPhone and it says most of my GB are used up by "Documents and Data"… What items make up the Documents and Data category? So what should I be deleting to make room? Ex; if I had way too much Audio I would delete my music. What's "Documents and Data"?
  • Taking out sim cards and cellular data on iPhone 4s? Currently I'm in a different country and do not want any unexpected charges to pop up on my bill when I return. My sim card is out but I still send emails and browse the internet using the local wi-fi from my location; since the sim card is out, I won't be charged? Also, what is cellular data? Like I said, I took out my sim card and data roaming is disabled but cellular data is turned on, I won't be charged for it being on since the sim card isn't inserted, correct?
