DODO BROADBAND CANCELLATION

On January 13th 2013, I entered a 24 month contract with Dodo over the phone for their ADSL2+ broadband (bundled with home phone) for approx. $49.90/month. After several frustrating days of talking to numerous people about the delivery service for our modem, we finally got a hold of it and connected to the internet.
Over the past few days the coverage has been downright AWFUL! My iPhone Wi-Fi goes out and goes back and goes out. I can't access Youtube on it now either. My computer's internet, which was previously very fast, has become so laggy that I have to wait up to a minute for the page to load, and many more for a 20min YT clip to buffer.
As I entered the contract over the phone (though not through telemarketing), I was wondering if it was possible to use the 10 day cooling off period. If not, is there ANY way in which I can cancel the contract without any early termination fees! Please Help! I'm DESPERATE to get away from this awful company!

DODO ARE DUDS!

return hardware
do not pay anything
you did not receive service so you should be able to break agreement

You would have got a welcome email from them, stating what plan etc you are on and the cost. Plus their terms of service. If you received any emails I would read them and look for the part that says anything about termination etc. If there's a 10 day cooling off period, then your troubles are over. But you will need to contact them before the 10 days are up. It depends where you live, as to if their wireless stuff works. It does not work where I live.So, read everthing they sent you and see if you have a cooling off period.

We had the same problem with our internet connection but we were with a different company… First of i don't know why you would even CONSIDER dodo, their commercials are putrid beyond belief, and so stupid. Secondly the only advice i could really offer is to terminate the contract even if you have to pay some money, internet is more important than just a few bucks… Sorry thats all the advice i could give you

I have same experience with dodo too. I give my thumb to vodavone, i regret using dodo because too many excuses… I better terminate it as soon as possible because i need to communicate with friends and family through BlackBerry Messenger…

  • Your broadband modem is experiencing connectivity issues? My wireless works fine with my iPad and iPhones. But then I try to connect it to my Windows 7 desktop, and it says that it's experiencing connectivity issues? I have the Ethernet cable hooked up to the main router, then my wireless, then into the computer. I've tried restarting them both at the same time, but it's still having the same issue?
  • Will my cancellation request be accepted by amazon? I ordered a iphone 4 otterbox case and then about an hour later I realized I didn't need it & then I requested to cancel it. Now I'm wondering if it will be cancelled and will my money be kept? And how long will it take for it to be cancelled?
  • What Router do i need for my Mobile Broadband to become Wi-Fi? Basically i have purchased a Mobile Broadband USB stick from EE to share it with my iPhone at work (i get no signal at work with O2 and i've only just started new contract/job). What router will i need to make the mobile broadband a Wi-Fi connection for my iphone?
  • Tesco broadband. Can I get a stronger Wi-Fi signal? I have Tesco unlimited broadband. It works fine but was wondering if anyone else has trouble with a weak signal when you are say 10-15 meters away through a couple of walls? My laptop picks up 2 out of 5 bars in signal but my iPhone 5 gets nothing at all. Could I upgrade my router? And if so, what would be a good one? Is there such a thing as a signal strength chart or anything like that? Just thought I'd ask.
