Does 4g LTE use more data than 4g during the same time period?
Lets say on my iPhone I used 4g LTE for 1 hour, am I using more data than while I'm on a 4g iPhone for the same 1 hour?
LTE transfers data at a higher rate of speed. Let's say you have two people, Mr. 4G and Mr. LTE. Both have to view the same 50 websites. They will both be downloading the same amount of data, but Mr. LTE will finish first with time left over. If Mr. LTE decides to do more browsing until Mr. 4G finishes, then yes, more data will be used.
- When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
- What will happen if I use Wi-Fi and 4G LTE at the same time? I'm buying my first smartphone and its going to be a iPhone 5.So I I know you can use Wi-Fi instead of data network but How do I do that? Do I need to turn of Data Network? Also if I have LTE and Wi-Fi on. Which will the phone use?
- Does LTE use more data than 3G? I've already reached my data limit. This has happened in the past but not this quickly, I've noticed on the top left corner of my iPhone it says "Verizon LTE" if I disable that it will say "Verizon 3G" will I not use all of my data so quickly if I disable LTE and use 3G?
