Does an iphone 4 need to be in the US in order for at&t to unlock it?
I've asked at&t to unlock my old iphone 4. I want to send it to my relatives overseas. Can at&t perform the unlock if the phone is overseas?
I really don't believe so. You just need an active internet connection on a computer that has itunes so that when you plug the phone in to itunes it will let you know your phone is unlocked.
You may wanna ask AT&T.
NO. Get it factory unlocked and you can use it on other carriers and you won't have issues after updating because it is done through iTunes and is permanent. Visit http://www.iphonefort-mobile.com/ or email them at: conatct@iPhoneforT-Mobile.com. They were great with unlocking my iPhone.

- Order shipped to wrong address.i need my sister to pick it up for me? I purchased an iphone7 on ebay and i updated my shipping address because i moved 2.30 hours away, but then something went wrong and i assume when i went to fix it, the old shipping address went back on there without me noticing… Now my expensive parcel is headed to a place it could get stolen. However, my sister lives in my old city and was wondering if i filled out a letter of authorization, that she could go get it for me? I'm super stressed and annoyed as i just need a phone for work.
