Does Apple still support iphone 3gs's apps?
I'm wanting to purchase an iphone 3gs because I can't afford any other iphone but I want the phone to be able to get on Wi-Fi and to be able to have apps. I tried calling Apple but they are NO help AT ALL. I could get no info on this from them what so ever and one of the operators hung up on me. All the help you give is VERY much appreciated.
Most apps still work on the 3gs iphone, but alot of new ones done.
and less and less will work on it in a few months after ios 7 is released and the 3gs doesn't get it
Why not just get an iPhone 4? With a contract I believe it doesn't cost anything at all, I'm not sure though.
Apple doesn't write all the apps so I wouldnt' expect them to answer you on that. 3GS is a little outdated if you want to run the latest games, but it will run alot of other apps. Why not get 4 which is free on a 2 year contract?
The way iOS & app compatibility works is that if the iPhone is running beyond the minimal required version for the app, then it will run. If not, then it wouldn't.
Most apps require iOS 4.3 or greater to run, which the 3GS can run as it could run up 6.1.3.
All iPhones can connect to Wi-Fi. Doesn't matter how old.
- Will the iPhone 5S support apps when they update to iOS13 versions? I heard the iPhone 5S will not get IOS13. Which I do believe if will happen because this is an old device. My question is, how long will apps like Facebook and Instagram be able to run on these phonea in iOS 12?
- What does it mean when Apple says Non Support for 4G LTE? I was planing to buy an new iPhone but then i have read some details from their website; I saw some information about that it won't support 4G LTE for this model. What does it mean? Is it mean If I will apply a local telecommunication with a monthly service using with my Phone unit, it means my phone is not qualify for the monthly service right?
- Similar apps to whatsapp that iPhone 3G can support? I have an iPhone 3G and I found out that I can't download whatsapp so I just wanted to know if there are other apps similar to whatsapp that my iPhone can support… Thank you in advance
- Phonto or Puffin? Apps that support flash? I just want an app that will allow me to watch movies on megashare and putlocker on my iPhone or iPad. Which is better for movies, Phonto or Puffin? From what I see, Phonto is better, but more people use Puffin. Is there another app, and maybe for free? I know there's a free Puffin app but it says that putlocker doesn't work on the free version but I'm not sure if it'll let me watch on the full version.
