Does AppleCare+ cover water damage on iPhone 4s
I dropped by phone and it accidentally fell in a cup of water in my car. I immediately dried it off. The flash turned on and then it started acting weird. Now, it doesn't want to turn on at all.
I have Applecare. I remember asking about water damage, and they said it was covered, which is why I got Applecare in the first place. But, now, I'm reading online. And people are saying no (with very few yes)… Regarding water coverage.
Will Applecare+ cover it, and how much is the deductible?
Yes, this plan includes up to 2 "accidental damage" which includes water damage, but you will have to pay the $49 deposit/deductible
the standard apple care plan doesn't, but the apple care+ does.
- Will AppleCare Plus cover my shattered iPhone 4 screen? I dropped my phone and the screen shattered. I have AppleCare Plus and they replaced my phone when it fell in the toilet. Do you think they'll replace it for this? If not, how much does an iPhone 4 cost now? $49.99?
- Will apple cover this with applecare on my iphone 5? I bought an iPhone 5 off Craigslist and it uses Sprint and has no Sim Card. The only problem is that the phone shuts off ***SOMETIMES*** not always at low battery. Sometimes it shuts off at 30, other times at 20. I have applecare until November. When my iphone 4 screen wouldn't turn on, the apple store gave me a new one for free. Will they do the same for my iphone 5?
- Waterdamaged iPhone, will AppleCare+ cover it? I have applecare + for my iphone 4s which gets 2 accidental damage replacements or whatever. But I'm not understanding how much I need to pay. I was thrown into a lake the person not realizing that my phone was on me and now it only works if I have it charging and its has no Wi-Fi or service. So if I take it to the apple store I know you get a replacment for $50 but do you have to pay for anything els? Like getting It fixed or a new phone or is that the total amount?
- Does Verizon iPhone insurance cover water damage? I have the iPhone 4S with Verizon and I pay insurance ($20 a month I think). Does it cover water damage? If it doesn't, how easy would it be to say I lost it?
