Does erase all content and settings on the iPhone 6s dissociate you from your carrier? - 1
? No.
It erases content and settings. Not your contract. If you want true "dissociation" from your carrier, cancel your contract, unlock the phone and throw away the carrier's SIM.
Nope! It just wipes your personal data/pics/music etc. It's a factory reset. Your sim card controls your carrier association.
Of course not, you would need to call your carrier for that.
- When you erase an iphone of all of its content & settings, does this mean EVERYTHING is wiped? I wiped my old iphone because i got the new 6s. So my icloud is in use on my current phone, but i wanted to know, that since i wiped out my old on. Does that mean it would be safe to give it to a family member or close friend to use? Without having my personal info. On it?
