Does FaceTime long distance cost money?
Hi. So I have an iPhone 4 and my friend has an iPhone 4S. I live in New York and she lives in Nebraska. Anyways I was wondering will we get charged long distant calling on FaceTime? We never call each other only FaceTime. We both use our Internet not 3G. So will we get charged if we FaceTime? Thanks. Oh and will we get charged if we use 3G? Lol
Facetime is entirely free for all Apple device users.
You will not be charged anything if you use it using Wi-Fi (your "internet", not 3G), even in long distance.
But if you do use it with 3G, you might be charged because it users your data. Some carriers charge you more for going over your limitation of 2G/3G/4G/LTE data.
Not that i know of because my mum has facetime and she said that it didn't cost her any money to call long distance so it shouldn't cost you any money ether but it might use up your internet data.
- Will this long distance last? Well I'm 13 and my boyfriend 13 going to 15 soon. Anyway I'm in Texas and he is in Pennsylvania. But we both har iPhones that we talk to each other from. - Will I be charged for long-distance texts? I have this friend who is abroad for a little while. She does not have an iPhone, so i can't use iMessage. And I'm not sure if she even has access to internet. Will I be charged if I text her via SMS? If so how much? Also, I do not have an international phone plan.
- Multiplayer games for long distance couple? Hi me and my boyfriend are unfortunately a long distance couple, and we're always looking for fun games to play. But, we haven't found very many that we both like. We both have an xbox 360 and iphones. If you could suggest any fun multiplayer apps or games or anything that you think we could do together thats fun, please tell me! We're desperate. And we prefer cute couple things over just regular multiplayer games but anything you have to suggest is fine.
- Long distance charges when texting from own country? So I'm in Canada where I'm from and my friend who is also from Canada is in the states right now. We both have iPhones so I know we can use iMessage and not be charged and I know if she texts me she will be charged but if I text her from Canada to the US wil I be charged? Also I'm with Bell.
