Will I be charged for long-distance texts?
I have this friend who is abroad for a little while. She does not have an iPhone, so i can't use iMessage. And I'm not sure if she even has access to internet.
Will I be charged if I text her via SMS? If so how much?
Also, I do not have an international phone plan.
You very likely will, but how much will depend on your carrier's rates. You would have to check with them to know for sure.
It depends, if its out of country, then yes… And usually companies charges you like from 5 cents to 50 or even dollar
As long as you are sending to a domestic phone number it will not cost you anything to send text to that number. BUT if she is abroad, and has her phone on international roaming, she will be charged for each SMS message that she receives.
- Will this long distance last? Well I'm 13 and my boyfriend 13 going to 15 soon. Anyway I'm in Texas and he is in Pennsylvania. But we both har iPhones that we talk to each other from. - Will i be charged if someone texts me from another country? My friend took a day trip to Canada yesterday (we live in the us) and was texting me the whole day. She said that since we both had iphones and were using iMessage that we wouldnt be charged, but she had Wi-Fi for a couple hours and while she was using the Wi-Fi she got charged for roaming since she wasn't using 3G. Will i be charged as well? It was in a group chat with two other girls as well and they are also worried. We're all on Verizon 3G plans
- Will i be charged for texts on iPhone even though i turned off cellular data and enable 3G? I have turned off my cellular data and 3G believing that everything of texts web browsing etc. Is all based on Wi-Fi. I know imessage won't charge me even though i'm on Wi-Fi. However if i were to text someone who does not have an iphone and it isn't imessage will i still be charged? Because sending messages to them works with my cellular data and 3g off but will i be charged or even charged more since it is off?
- Multiplayer games for long distance couple? Hi me and my boyfriend are unfortunately a long distance couple, and we're always looking for fun games to play. But, we haven't found very many that we both like. We both have an xbox 360 and iphones. If you could suggest any fun multiplayer apps or games or anything that you think we could do together thats fun, please tell me! We're desperate. And we prefer cute couple things over just regular multiplayer games but anything you have to suggest is fine.
