Does iPhone 5 still have edge?
I have a limited amount of data for LTE and 3g cause I share it with my family. I used to use edge to save up a ton of money. Is there still such a thing on the iPhone 5? If so how do I turn it on.
Yes, but depending on your wireless service you may not be able to turn it on
CDMA wireless companies (sprint, verizon, virign mobile, etc) don't support edge
AT&T and T-Mobile do, but generally only switch to edge when out of range of 3g/4g towers
you don't normally get charged more for using higher-speed data connections.
Yes it is still available. Thing is though when the iPhone finds a faster form of internet, usually 3G/4G it would use that rather than EDGE. You could turn off the 3G though.
Settings > General > Cellular > Enable 3G > Switch to off.
- Will Strava iPhone app work on t-mobile 2g/edge? Right now t-mobile only offers 2g/EDGE data speeds for unlocked iPhones brought to them. Is that fast enough to use the cycling app Strava?

- Is their anyway to change the edge to edge screen configuration on the iPhone XS? I hate the edge to edge miss the earlier models? The iPhone XS is a better phone but I much prefer the iPhone 8 and earlier model design. Wish their was a way to make the screen on it smaller or less long. Like how the other ones have he home button with the black bar on the bottom and top not full screen.
- Is 3G the same price as Edge on an iPhone? I pay for unlimited internet & data, so I turned on Cellular data. Right now, my phone has an "E" (edge) in the corner instead of 3G. I was wondering if i turned 3G on, would it be the same price as my E or will it cost money
