Does it conserve more battery turning off your iPhone 4s?
I been searching all over for this question and the web searches are such a ding bat when it comes to simple questions. The question I have is will I conserve more battery on my iPhone 4s if I turn it off when not using it? I know lots of people say leave it on and get full use of the battery but I mainly use my phone for convenience.
Yes it does conserve more battery when it's off. Your phone is not roaming nor is there any apps running, and everything shuts down anyway when you turn it off so nothing kills the battery.
Well I would say so. Running the phone vs it being off. You say you use for convenience but I don't see how it could be so if you have to wait for it to turn on when you are ready to use it.
- Wouldn't turning off iPhone while charging shorten battery life? They say the iPhone has a battery life of 400 full charge cycles before it starts its decline. Ok here is the thing… A lot of talk on how to save battery life on the iPhone by charging habits such as turning the phone off while charging, airplane mode while charging, turn off Wi-Fi bluetooth etc… But if the phone charges faster… Wouldn't that increase the amount of full charge/discharge cycles and there for decreasing the life of the battery?
- Why is my iPhone 5 turning off and not turning back on? This has happened twice now. My iPhone 5 has turned off in the middle of the night with a full charge and off the charger, and when I try to turn it back on it takes a couple tries. Has anybody experienced this?
- My iPhone keeps turning on and off like it turns on and off. Can someone tell me? Okay tbms it turns on and off on and off and then sometimes it shows a red screen for a few seconds then off again and dies out. It's not the battery because I got that changed thinking that it was the cause and it wasn't. So is there anything someone can help me with? The repair guy tried restoring it through iTunes he said it didn't work either it just won't come on it doesn't go pass the Apple logo before shutting off and on again and dying out
- Is there a fast way to turn off all comms on an iphone, BUT calls and texts to conserve battery? I was wondering if there's a one button way to turn off all comms, push notifications etc, except calls and texts(or maybe even calls only) in order to conserve battery? I also heard of a mode on some Android devices that would also turn your screen black & white and dim it. Does anyone know if there's some sort of an App or something like that that would allow you to have such functionality? Cheers
