Does it cost money to FaceTime long-distance on an iPhone?
I'm from America and I've been facetiming my old friend from England. Since FaceTime is off email it wouldn't cost money right? Anyways iPods have FaceTime and they don't ge phone bills, so yeah thanks in advance!

No, my sister Facetimes her grandson across the country every night for free. Been doing it for over a year. Just make sure you're on wi-fi.
FaceTime is free always to iPods because it uses Wi-Fi. If you are using a iPhone however it doesn't matter where you FaceTime or with who it's how much data you use.

- Will I be charged for long-distance texts? I have this friend who is abroad for a little while. She does not have an iPhone, so i can't use iMessage. And I'm not sure if she even has access to internet. Will I be charged if I text her via SMS? If so how much? Also, I do not have an international phone plan.

- Long distance charges when texting from own country? So I'm in Canada where I'm from and my friend who is also from Canada is in the states right now. We both have iPhones so I know we can use iMessage and not be charged and I know if she texts me she will be charged but if I text her from Canada to the US wil I be charged? Also I'm with Bell.
