Does it Matter Who Your iPhone Carrier is Serviced From?

I'm trying to cut down my expenses. I have AT&T and I really love AT&T however, Virgin Mobile has the iPhone 4S for a Lot cheaper than what I'm paying for mine now.so,. Would I be Looked down on or considered low because I have an iPhone on Virgin Mobile instead of a high end contract company?

also would it be safer to sign a contract because then you have the garuntee that if anything went wrong with the phone then your covered no matter what. With prepaid phones there's a warranty but not a really good one, and basically if something goes wrong, your F*cked essentially.

I have only had one contract in my life and that was with T-Mobile worst ever.
so,. I have AT&T and an Unlocked iPhone 3Gs on the GoPhone service.so,.tell me
Do you judge people based on their phone carrier

some people in my area do and I just don't want to be looked down on
its bad enough I'm for most of my habits, I don't need another poking prod

Most people can't tell who your carrier is. Why would you care what they think, anyway? Live your own life and choose what's best for you.

Check the coverage on Virgin Mobile to make sure they cover the areas you frequent.

No, it doesn't matter which carrier you have the iPhone on. The fact that you have an iPhone would mean that people wouldn't look down on you for your phone. I have an iPhone 4 on T-Mobile which isn't fast right now because I don't even have 3G. But T-Mobile will be selling the iPhone soon.

No, it's never a smart idea to be locked into a contract, unlocked phones are the way to go. Even while in a contract, they won't replace your phone or repair it or anything unless you paid for a monthly protection plan (which is a waste of money). I have a friend who uses his iPhone 4S with T-Mobile prepaid. You're fine.
