Does Jailbreaking my iPhone 4S void my AppleCare+ Insurance?
I can't seem to get a definite answer from any websites, so does anyone know? Also, I'm taking it to the Apple store tonight to try and fix a crashing problem it has had since before I even jailbroke it. Will the techs at the store care I jailbroke it?
Yeah it would void it and i would suggest the reason it is crashing is because the phone has been jailbroken.
What you should do is restore it on itunes before taking it to the apple store, and i have to say when i owned iphones in the past the worst thing i ever did was jailbreak my device has it never worked the same after and would lag and crash often.
- What does AppleCare/iPhone Warranty mean? I ordered my White iPhone 5 yesterday morning, and its going to be my first time with an Apple product. I was wondering. -Is getting an extended warranty worth it? -Does the iPhone come with an original 1 year warranty or something, and if so what does it cover? -What does an extended warranty cover, how much does it cost, and where can i get it? Please and thank you!
- If I replace the back cover of an iPhone 4s, does it void the warranty? I'm thinking about taking my white back cover and replacing it with a green one off amazon (because mine is cracked). But I was wondering if it will void my warranty.
- Does wear and tear on my iphone void the one year warranty? I've never dropped my iphone 4s. But I pick on my phone's edges, and there's are some marks on the aluminum edges from who knows what. I'm guessing just from hitting it on something. So with this, am I still able to use my manufactures warranty on it? My phone is never touch sensitive anymore and always restarts on me randomly. I would like to get this fixed at the apple store.
- Does unlocking and jailbreaking an iPhone void apple care warrenty? So I got the iPhone 5, and I want to unlock it to put it with another company. Also I want to jailbreak it when the jailbreak comes out. If I do those 2 and my phone breakes, or cracks screen will I be able to get a new one? What if I completely restore it as a new iPhone? Would they replace it?
