Does Spotify take up more room if there are more playlists?
I have the Spotify app on my iPhone and I like to make playlists for different songs. Does the app take up more room, the more I add songs and playlists? (Is it significantly more room?)
Unless you're saving them for offline no, they shouldn't be taking up any space.
- Why does my music take up so much room on my iPhone? I've been recently frustrated with how little space my iPhone had left considering how much content I have on my phone (2200 songs at 17.9GB, 1200 pictures at 4.6GB, 29 apps at 3.02GB, etc.). I compared it to my sister's identical iPhone, which has much of the same content. However, her phone has 2100 songs at 8.8GB, 3700 at 3.4GB and 46 apps at 3.4GB. Much of her music was downloaded directly from my MacBook. Why is my phone so full while hers still hasn't reached half-capacity?
- Why does my music keep getting removed from playlists? In the iPhone Music app (not Apple Music) songs I've bought from iTunes keep getting removed from playlists. The songs will still be on my phone but I keep having to re-add them to the playlists.
- Which takes up more space on my iPhone: a song in the music app or a song downloaded from Spotify? Assuming it's the same song, obviously, using the default quality settings for each. I need more space on my phone, and want to see if I can save space in the music department.
- Is there a free alternative to Spotify? I love the service but I'm really looking for something I can use offline as well on my iphone to save my credit. I feel like the price for premium is absurd. So yeah, a service like Spotify/playlist making/lots of songs/offline feature. Does a quality one exist?
