Which takes up more space on my iPhone: a song in the music app or a song downloaded from Spotify?
Assuming it's the same song, obviously, using the default quality settings for each. I need more space on my phone, and want to see if I can save space in the music department.
I think it takes up the same space because I have a music app that I download music with and it is still taking up space in my phone so I don't think it matters where you put the music in.
- Will buying more iCloud space let me download more apps, songs, and photos? So i have deleted apps that i don't really need and deleted songs i don't listen to but still there's not enough space to even take a photo, A pop up comes up that says to manage my icloud storage. Would purchasing more icloud storage allow me to download more apps and have more songs and pictures on my iPhone 4 from sprint? It is an 8gb i think.
- More you use an app the more space it takes up on iPhones and iPads? I have an iPad and new iPhone 5 that I just got. I have rhapsody on both the same app and amount of music basically (iPad as seven more songs on app) but on the iPad the rhapsody app takes up 2.8 GB and the iPhone takes up 1.8GB. Why is that? The more use the app the more space it takes up even if you're not adding new content?
- Spotify or Rdio for iphone music app? I used mog and just recently switched to beats, since the shut down of mog. I hate beats. Takes up way too much space. Would Spotify or Rdio be a better choice? Or is there a better not as well known app out there.
- Other takes up half my iphone space? How do I get rid of it? It's taking up tooons of space and I can't seem to get rid of it. I don't even have that many pics, apps, or contacts.
