Does the alarm on iPhones go on forever?

Because mine fell down the side of my bed and since I have a platform bed frame and it's against the wall, it's basically history because I'd have to take the bed apart to get to it. I'm getting the new iPhone very soon anyways, but my question is: will my morning alarm go on and on forever? Because I usually swipe to snooze or whatever, but i won't be able to tomorrow and that's going to get annoying quick. How long does the alarm go on for?

If you have it set to go all throughout the week, and its on right now, then yes. You'd have to wait till you die or get it from your bed to turn it off. Sadly enough, it also depends on your volume because the alarms go for 10 minutes each, without a backup alarm.

Alarms may stop after 2-5 minutes or so, then start again after 2-5 minutes. May repeat 2-3 times.
But, will your battery last that long? You could drain it a little forcing it to ring repeatedly. Once you drain the battery, it is just a piece of plastic.

I would get it out, its worth $ on a trade at least. Just get a long narrow stick and put duct tape on the end, see if you can extract it out.
