WHY DOES MY ALARM NOT GO OFF ON MY IPHONE?

I set multiple alarms and turned on the ringer and turned the volume all the way up but it didn't go off. Also i quit everything in multitasking except the clock app

You may be using the Do Not Disturb option in settings. Make sure this is off while you're sleeping, or else it won't go off. I did this multiple times and I missed the bus haha.

  • Will my iphone alarm still go off when i have an app running overnight? I've had sleep cycle on my phone for around 5 months now, but I haven't had the chance to try it out yet. I'm normally a very heavy sleeper and I have to get up super early in the morning which makes me even more sleepy. I want to see if it will work for school or if my 4 normal alarms will wake me up.
  • Will my iPhone alarm go off with headphones plugged in? I like to listen to music before I fall asleep, but I use my iPhone as my alarm for work in the morning. If I fall asleep with my headphones in, will the alarm still go off (like on the phone speakers, not just the headphones)?
  • Why doesn't my alarm go off on my new iphone5? Whenever I turn off my phone, I leave the sound on and everything else in check. But it still won't sound, why does it happen? What do I do in the settings to make it turn on? Because I have to lock the screen in order for it to sound, and leave it on all night. I don't like that it wastes money on my phone bill. How do I fix this in my settings?
  • Why doesn't my alarm clock sound off on my iphone? Although it "alarms" when it should, it doesn't ring, it only vibrates. Does anyone know how to fix this? P.S I had a 4 day weekend last week, and I kept leaving my phone everywhere, so I didn't get to turn off the alarm clock for maybe 3 days, so maybe this is the reason?
