Does the iPhone have an app for the MTA New York City subway map?

Does iPhone's have an app for the MTA New York City subway map? Like the ones they have in the train. Like when it shows you exactly which neighborhood in each boroughs where each train goes, and it shows you the number of the train and where you can catch it… Yea that map! Yall know what I'm talking about? Yea it's basically the "MTA New York City subway map", the big map IN all the trains. Does the iphone have an app for that? Where it just shows you the map? What is tha app called? And is it free? Or do you have to pay?
My friend, the MTA does have an app that you can download with a map of the city's subway system. Some of them are free, however, some will cost you between $2 and $4.

However, why do you need an app, when a real New York City well do the same job. The map is free and available at subway station booths system-wide or only at the MTA's website.

My cars gps, my galaxy s4 gps and my friends iphone had the same problem. The gps would tell me to go the opposite route then halfway go another direction.
