Does unlimited texting include pictures?

I have an iphone 5, and i have unlimited texting. I guess i went way over my data usage, but I've been checking it and it didn't look like it did. I tend to send a lot of pictures. Does unlimited texting include sending pictures? When i turn off cellular data they won't send.

This is an odd and very good question… Please be a tad bit more specific. What I mean is, do you have a plan for unlimited text and data, or simply unlimited text? I'm not too big on cell phones, just computers, but I do know that sending a picture message requires sending data, separate from text.
I'm sorry if i'm no help, I'm just trying to the best of my ability. But if you want a true answer, you could probably walk to any cell phone customer service desk and ask them. They know for sure.

Unlimited texting doesn't include pictures (Multimedia/MMS). Picture messaging falls under data, which is part of cellular/cellular data. If you turn off Cellular, then pictures won't send, but make sure you turn Wi-Fi on so it goes through.

Before data plan ('feature phone') Unlimited text messages generally *included* picture messages. They would send and you would not be charged data because you did not *have data*

After data plan (smartphone) Unlimited text messages means unlimited text messages. MMS/Picture messages are no longer considered "text" on a smart phone, so you must use your data plan to send them. They will NOT send over Wi-Fi.

This is an example of unlawful intercourse by the phone company- because they can.

I have no unlimited texting WHICH MEANS i can text any Verizon phone for free but if i text any other carrier it is pulled into my 500 count. SO if i text an iPod Touch user that uses iMessage will it get pulled into my 500 count? Cuz the iPod Touches don't have a carrier… So i don't know what to think.
  • Under settings on my iPhone, does the data usage include Wi-Fi usage? Because its stating a ridiculous amount and I've had my data off… And my Wi-Fi on. Does the total of data include the amount of Internet I'm using when on Wi-Fi? I'm so confused
