Does using GPS on my iPhone 4s use up cellular data?
I would like to use the Nike+ app while running with my iPhone 4s. If I do this will it use up some of my cellular data?
I've never heard anyone saying it does, but it does use a lot of battery.
GPS is not related to mobile internet. It will just track you around. BTW GPS uses its own satilites.
If it is working with your sim card that means it is using your data from same service provider but if possible you can ask for free subscription or separate from your service provider.
- Will using cellular data use up my credit? I'm getting an iPhone 5 quite soon on pay as you go and don't want to waste credit. If I turn off cellular data then will my credit be only used for calls and texts? I'm happy with using just Wi-Fi.
