Does your iPhones night shift mode kill your battery too?

I love using it, especially when I'm laying in bed or somewhere dark but I feel like my battery dies twice as fast. I have an iPhone 6+ and was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

Plug it in

Just mute the phone with the switch in the corner, you don't have to turn it off or do anything else.

There should be no effect on battery life with Night Shift, since only the color balance of the screen is changed.

  • Night Shift not showing up on IPhone settings? I just updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 9.3. The problem is when I check under Display and Brightness on settings it isn't there. I don't know how to fix it. Do I have to enable or disable something else on settings to use night shift? Or how do I get it on settings?
