Downgrading iOS 8.3 to 8.1.2?

Okay so I want to downgrade my iOS 8.3 to iOS 8.1.2 so what I've done so far is downloaded the IPSW and downloaded my right device and the IOS I wanted which is 8.1.2 and then plugged my phone into my pc and held shift (I'm using windows) and click restore and selected the download I want and it started downloading and once it finishes it say "this iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (3194)
What do I do to downgrade my iOS? My iTunes on my pc is up to date. I don't know what else to do. I tried using another pc and the same thing happened.

Downgrade will not happen.
Initially, soon after the release of the iOS 8.3 you had a small window of time when you could downgrade.

After that time passed, Apple will not let you downgrade. It happens like this because the downgrade file has to be authenticated with Apple servers. Since Apple took off the earlier version of iOS from the servers, the authentication does not take place.

If you jailbreak your iPhone then this could work, but that is whole another can of worms.

  • Lost all downloaded apps from iPhone downgrading from iOS 7 Beta? Before I upgraded, I manually backed up my iPhone on my mac. I needed to downgrade after upgrading, so I opt+clicked restore iPhone and selected the correct firmware, 6.1.4 (for my iPhone 5). I loaded up the iPhone and restored from my previous backup. When I loaded up my phone, there were no apps on it that didn't come with the device! Does anyone know what went wrong or how to get all of the apps and their previous data back? It would help me beyond belief!
  • Is it possible to Lose iCloud Activation lock by Downgrading to iOS 6 on iPhone 4? I have a iCloud locked iPhone 4 which was factory unlocked. I hacktivated it using win SCP and now the sim won't work. So i thought why not downgrade to a version when Activation Lock wasn't even created. That way i will have a fully working iPhone on iOS 6 right? Is that possible?
  • Is it possible to avoid errors 3194 and 1601, when downgrading? I'm attempting to downgrade my Iphone 5 6.1.4 to 6.1.2 so I can jailbreak but so far every method I've tried leads to errors 3194 and 1601. I've got to the point were I'm prepared to pay a trustworthy website to jailbreak my phone. So if any knows any methods or sites, please help! P.S I've tried appleunlocker and its Bullsh*t I know how to jailbreak, just don't know how to downgrade
  • Is downgrading the ios possible? I'm currently running ios 4.2.1 on iphone 4. I'm thinking of upgrading to ios 5.1.1 or even ios6 However, is it possible to go back to 4.2.1 if I encounter any problems with it?
