Is it possible to Lose iCloud Activation lock by Downgrading to iOS 6 on iPhone 4?

I have a iCloud locked iPhone 4 which was factory unlocked. I hacktivated it using win SCP and now the sim won't work. So i thought why not downgrade to a version when Activation Lock wasn't even created. That way i will have a fully working iPhone on iOS 6 right? Is that possible?

Not possible. Unless you saved the phone BLOBS unique to that individual iPhone before upgrading from iOS 6 then the upgrade is irreversible.

Another reason the SIM might not be working is if the rightful owner of the stolen phone you currently possess has had its IMEI blocked.

  • Is there any possible way to get past the activation lock on an iPhone 5? I bought an iPhone from my friends friend. Well he failed to tell me that I needed his username or password to actually use the phone, and I have no contact with this person. Is there any way to get past this or am I out of 80$?

P.S I've tried appleunlocker and its Bullsh*t I know how to jailbreak, just don't know how to downgrade
  • Is downgrading the ios possible? I'm currently running ios 4.2.1 on iphone 4. I'm thinking of upgrading to ios 5.1.1 or even ios6 However, is it possible to go back to 4.2.1 if I encounter any problems with it?

This iPhone was not stolen or lost as a Telus rep. Confirmed it. Tried everything I could find online to no luck. This is so irritating and it is really upsetting that nothing is working because I have spent around $300 in total with this iPhone 5. Can someone Please help me. Anything will help. I'm desperate for a solution. Any good answer is appreciated.
