Download speed slow on only one computer?
So lately, my download speed has been extremely slow on only my desktop computer, on my laptop, i get around 25-30 Mbps down, but on my desktop i only get around 3 down. I tested on my iphone and ipad aswell, and they both get around 30 Mbps down aswell.
Is this computer lower perfomance lik CPU speed, RAM memory, HDD space?
If yes try tu buy better parts and then try to download something.
I think it's problem with CPU, try to change CPU paste if RAM is over 1.5 GB you don't have a prolem with them. Or try to remove something from HDD.
I don't know for sure but you might have a virus.
- Why is my Wi-Fi speed so slow? I have a HP Pavilion TS 11 Notebook 11-e000sa running Windows 8.1, the network adapters are a Realtek PCIe Family Controller (ethernet) and Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn (Wi-Fi) I have a fibre optic connection, and my PS3 and iPhone are getting wireless speeds well over 30MB/s without any issues, however my laptop struggles to get 2MB/s. All the drivers are up-to-date, but there must be something set wrong. Any help on this would be appreciated!
- Why is my internet speed slow? So I have a netgear router and recently, anything connected to it has had really slow connection speed. My computer (which is wired) and my iPhone (which uses Wi-Fi) both can't load YouTube videos without constant buffering and low res. If it helps I'm with plusnet and just their standard internet service. Not sure what to do as I think I've tried everything
- What is the speed of slow mo video vs Real time on an IPhone 5s? I filmed a physics experiment in slow motion so that I could get an accurate measurement of time, but I'm not sure how to convert the time taken in Slow motion to real time. For example, if something takes 4s to fall when recorded in slow motion, what should I divide/multiply that by to get the value in real time?
- Sudden drop in download speed? Yesterday I noticed that suddenly my internet speed was terrible. It still says the signal strength is "excellent" but i can't even manage to watch a YouTube video at 240p which is really saying something. Also I have noticed with my iPhone connected to the same Wi-Fi I still get great download speeds and no problem watching videos and such. Any help would be great.
