Downloaded songs show up grey on iphone?
So I got my songs on spotify, then used this thing called spotydl which finds the mp3 online and transfers it to your music folder
so i then put them on itunes and synced it to my phone, but like 30% of the songs come up gray and won't play. Should i go fetch the mp3's for these myself and do it manually or is there a way to fix it?
I had the same problem, to edit these mp3 properties (artist, album, etc), right click the song name in itunes, view in explorer --> right click the mp3 file --> properties --> Uncheck "Read only" and you should be able to edit it

All the grey ones won't play or delete, and about half the white songs won't play or delete either. I tired resyncing the songs back on the iPhone so I could delete them, but I only ended up with duplicates of songs and I could only delete the one I had just added? What is wrong? - Songs downloaded on iphone won't show up in iTunes? I bought some songs on my iphone but when I went on itunes on my mac it isn't there.usually its always there. I just got my mac a couple days ago but I haven't put my credit card number on itunes also. Maybe thats the problem? But my songs that i bought yesterday arent there on iTunes.
