Droped my iPhone in Water 2 1/2 weeks ago and sound still won't work?
2 1/2 weeks ago I accidentally dropped my phone in water. I didn't have rice so I put it in paper towels because apperently that works almost as well as rice. Well the sound won't work now. Everything eles is fine accept for sound. I can hear the ringer when the phone rings and I can hear other people's voice on phone but I can't listen to my music or listen to instagram videos or my own videos. This is irritating me. Is there any other solution besides rice?!

In my personal opinion, I would say you should just go to the apple store or a place to get it fixed. I say this because, when you drop you phone in water, you are supposed to put it in rice as soon as possible before all of the water soaks into the wires and electronic stuff on the inside. Since its been 2 1/2 weeks already and you still haven't put it in rice, the sound is probably wrecked. I've never heard of using paper towels for this, and I guess it did not take out all of the water from your phone, so I just suggest going to get it fixed. Best of luck to you.
- Why is my phone freezing and restarting if I only got it 3 weeks ago? I got an IPhone XR for my birthday 3 weeks ago, and about 2 weeks ago it started acting up. It would freeze and restart the whole phone and black out at random times. It's been happening a lot more recently, about 2 times a week my phone will act up. I don't know if the phone is just defective or what.
- This is about my Iphone 6 plus I got a few weeks ago? I just got my new iPhone 6 plus a few weeks ago, and it, s been working well since then. But I realized just now as I play my music, my loudspeaker sounded not good. It sound perfectly fine with the earphones. And I have never dropped it or got it wet. I just don't know what to do. - My iPhone 6 was stolen two weeks ago? Two weeks ago at school I was changing in my school locker room and I set my phone down for about 5 seconds. I turned around to check somthing on it and it was gone. I already tried find my iPhone, calling it, find my friends, ECt. The school police already told me that they won't do anything about it. There are only about 15 people who could have stolen it, is there anyway I could figure out who it was?
- My husband was driving for Uber 2 weeks ago and some drink guy left his Iphone 6 in the car? They've tried to contact him several times… Can't get owner info from Siri. Now what? Is it toast? Can we use it? Sell it? We're not thieves but we're hitting our limit here.
