Dropped iPhone 6 in milk, and it won't charge?

I was making pancakes and I I was holding my phone to get the recipe, meanwhile I had milk in the bowl and I dropped his phone it it. It was barely in the bowl only the bottom was in the milk for like 5 seconds, and everything worked so I thought it was fine. About 3 hours later I realized it wouldn't charge. I turned it off and upright now it's in rice. Will it work again or do I need a new phone.

Added (1). Btw I didn't turn it on, it was already on

Added (2). I also want to add that it charged for a little while then stopped charging and everything else works fine

You might just try taking it in…

Might wanna let it dry. Rice won't do anything. Let it dry before attempting to charge it or power it. Most people ruin devices doing those two things. If it has that problem then something's broken inside

Chance is you ruined it because you tried turning it on before you put in rice

  • I dropped my iPhone in milk and now the audio is all fuzzy? I was eating my cereal while watching a tv shoe on my phone and then I end up dropping my phone into the milk but only the speaker part, and now the audio is all fuzzy?
  • I dropped my iPhone in milk? - 1 Everything seems to be fine except for the fact that I can't hear anything (calls, music, etc.) unless i have the headphones plugged in. I read that this same syptom has happened to other people who dropped it in milk. I have had it in rice since it happened so what i'm really asking is if you may have had a similar experience, did the sound come back after a day or two in the rice?
  • I dropped my iPhone in chocolate milk Okay, so everything works expect my speakers! I can't hear music or hear the other people on my phone during a call, but my mic works. What can I do? I don't have a warranty. I think.
  • I dropped my iPhone 5 in milk? I was eating cereal and the bottom part of my phone fell in. I immediately put the phone in rice for a few and my phone seemed to be working fine but the phone won't use the speakers because it senses headphones in the headphone jack. It work only with headphones in it. It's currently under a lamp light because I read on Apple that you should do that. But does anyone have any other tips that might help me. I'm screwed if this phone breaks.
