Dropped iPhone in salt water a year ago, still fixable?

So I have an iPhone 4s that I dropped in salt water a year ago and haven't used it or powered it on since… Is there anyway to fix it now?

Added (1). I waited a year because it was just sitting around and if I fixed it I might be able to sell it

HA! Unfortunately, I don't think your iPhone is fixable. And why wait a year to fix it?

Probably not. Salt water is a lot worse than regular (fresh) water, because it's very corrosive (that means it causes metal to rust and degrade). So even if the water dried up quickly, it left salt behind, which certainly caused widespread damage that isn't possible to fix.

  • Will salt in the air ruin my computer? I'm currently spending a day at the batch with my family and I brought my MacBook Pro w/ retina display, iPad 3, and iPhone 5 to the beach with me. Will the humid, hot, salty air hurt them at all, or am I not going to be here long enough for them to take any damage?
  • Recover deleted photos from iPhone from about a year ago? I deleted a few pictures from my iPhone 4 around August 2012 and I want to know if there's anyway to recover them. I don't have a back-up and I tried using a file recovery program but that didn't work. Please help if there's anything that can be done I would very much appreciate it!
  • Overloaded iPhone 4S still fixable? My friend plugged a 12V RC car charger into the audio jack of an iPhone 4S. The plug sparked then the screen went to all sorts of colors then turned to red and finally black. Is this problem still fixable?
  • I recently dropped my iphone and both sides cracked entirely. Is it fixable? I dropped my phone and the the front and back are completely shattered. The screen lights up but will not show anything. Is it possible to get the screen fixed even if nothing is appearing? About how much would all this cost?
