Dropped iphone in water, now it's calling people in the night
Dropped my iphone in the sink last night, it turned its self off then back on, and I left it in salt to draw the moisture out, however I had some missed calls last night And I've called 8 people from 3-5 am! Can any one help me?
That's strange, I don't know how that is happening if the phone is damaged it should just not work. Pull out the battery and put it in rice to dry it out that my fix it. You should use rice not salt to draw the moisture out. Salt can cause corrosion.
If it still doesn't work take it to apple to fix it.

No. Not Salt, that is highly corrosive and will do it damage
Warm Dry place and Rice.fine.

and yes, until it is completely dry it may well do strange things
let the battery go flat and do not charge it until it is dry (5-10 days)
If it keeps making calls - take the SIM out, and at the very least turn it off (and hope it does not turn back on again)

- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
