Dropped my Iphone 4s in toilet, works but faulty. What should I do?
I was at school today and dropped my Iphone 4s in the toilet, my phone was on at the time and stayed on after I got it out. I wiped the excess water of the phone and used a hair dryer to dry it slightly, it stayed on all this time. I later looked at it and the home button seemed to not work however when I locked it it seemed the button was activating siri suggesting it was working? The screen also has a bright line diagonally running up it and the camera is fogged up from the inside.
What should I try and do to get all the water out and the home button to behave normally?
Just throw it away, it fell in the public toilet, not even worth touching after that
Keep an eye on your phone for the next few days. I took my phone out in really heavy rain, and my phone worked fine until I tried to charge it, where I found that it wouldn't charge due to a water damaged battery.
As for the home button, take it to a repair shop, or if you have insurance, see if they will fix it for you.
My phone fell in the toilet yesterday. I don't know if it's too late for you but I put my phone in a bowl of uncooked rice. The rice absorbs all of the water out of it. Now, my phone works perfectly fine.

I have an iPhone 4, it was dropped and cracked, I own a phone repair shop and I had the metal band replaced and the black antenna at the bottom of the phone but it will only sometimes pick up T-mobile service then it will drop right after, it works perfectly on AT&T. It's officially unlocked through AT&T and I have tried restoring it and resetting settings, does anyone know what else I could replace? Or if there's a software fix?

It's still working and it was in an otterbox but I took off the case and it's all wet. I'm typing this on it right now. What I want to know is will it just stop working soon? I'm at a party right now and can't get anytime. I'm freaking out because my parents will kill me. Any advice or something to console me?
