Dropped my Iphone in the pool?
So I had the brilliant idea of not checking my pockets before I jumped in the pool. Right when I jumped in I realized that my Iphone was in my pocket. I immediately jumped out of the pool. Obviously it would not turn on and the back light won't turn off. My friends and I put the phone in a bowl of rice to see if that works. Do you think I have any chance of recovering the phone? Also, how long should I keep it in the bowl?
Ehh thats a myth and won't work sorry lol
The phone will work fine, unless you smartly turned it on after you it was wet to see if it works then its busted. If not then wait few days until its fully dried, then it will work fine.
Rice only works if partially wet but you can try I guess
First of all your rice and phone should be in a closed ziplock baggie and second of all don't try turning it on for a few days just leave it in the bag because if you try to turn it on you might blow the fuse also. Take it a pat so the battery th cover and the back cover
I dropped my iPhone in the pool and I turned it on straight aways to see if it still works it did but now it dosent. Will it still work? How do I fix it?
- My iphone 4s dropped in the pool what should I do? My iphone dropped in the pool 2 nights ago and I immediately put it in rice… It has been in rice for a little over 24 hrs but is still not working, what should I do?
- My Iphone 4 fell in a pool but not just a normal pool? It fell off my pocket and stayed at the bottom of the pool which was filled with sea water for 10 minutes, is there even 1% chance of it beeing fixed?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- IPhone 4 was dropped in my pool? I got it out and didn't think to turn it off. I had music playing and it stopped. I dried it off and it's been in a bowl of rice since 5. My back camera has water droplets inside the camera (it looks foggy) and my flash won't shut off. My phone was on 75% when I dropped it. It's been 5 and a half hours. Shouldn't the battery have died already? Will my phone ever work again? And how long should I keep my phone in the rice?
